Domain Reseller

Many domain reseller options include the ability to have a white-label store that is hosted by the provider. With OpenSRS, this solution is called StoreFront. GoDaddy has a similar offering.

The downside to these solutions is the lack of customization options. With OpenSRS, for example, you are limited to colors and just a couple of images you can swap out, with no ability for custom pages or a custom homepage. They typically also include some cost overhead.

Domain Reseller attempts to address this shortcoming with minimal effort. Plug in your API credentials and let it run.

Currently designed to work with GoDaddy and OpenSRS, the follow features are planned:

  • Built with Blazor and .NET Core (cross-platform)
  • Per-TLD pricing
  • Payments via Square or Stripe (with ability create custom providers)
  • Custom Pages
  • Support for current LTS .NET release(s)
  • Ability to plug in additional payment providers
  • Ability to plug in additional domain reseller providers

Check out the GitHub project to contribute. Some details will depend on OpenSRS.NET which is also still in development.

Note: GoDaddy requires an API Reseller Plan (standard Reseller plan doesn't include API access) and a Good as Gold account. Domain Reseller should ideally pass GoDaddy's certification test.
